Overview
The College of Natural Resources and Agricultural Economics is part of Mattu University's Bedele campus. It's surrounded by beautiful, lush greenery and rich in natural resources.
The college offers five undergraduate programs:
- Natural Resource Management
- Forestry
- Agricultural Economics
- Agribusiness and Value Chain Management
- Ecotourism and Biodiversity Conservation
It also has three postgraduate programs:
- Master of Science in Soil Science
- Master of Science in Agribusiness and Value Chain Management
- Master of Science in Agricultural Economics
There are 62 teachers in the college, and it currently has 413 undergraduate students and 19 postgraduate students.
The teachers are passionate about giving their students a high-quality education and doing research that helps improve agriculture and natural resource management. The college also has administrative staff who keep things running smoothly.
The College of Natural Resources and Agricultural Economics wants to be the best in the country for teaching, research, and helping the community. It encourages its students to be excellent academics, creative thinkers, and innovators. Finally, the college wants to improve its ability to do research that benefits society, the economy, the environment, and culture.
